pessimist, optimist, or realist?…
basta ako si Optimus! lol. but on a serious note who would you be? are you the pessimist that complains a lot, freaks out, and gets agitated every time something shifts; every time the normal way of things gets altered? are you the optimist; the one who’s always looking at all things in such an angle where the wrong seems right? or would you say that you’re the realist that take things as they are, moves along with the changes? me, i’d say that i’m that someone who’s in between an optimist leaning just a slight bit to being a realist. it’s true that in this world the only thing that’s constant is change. being a pessimist won’t do us any good. most people complain and raise hell out to the perpetrators of change, stressing their selves fighting a battle that’s, from the very beginning, pointless. some just let things go by, silently and placidly battling against the changes, convincing their thoughts that things are just meant to happen, and that’s it. while some accepts the change once they’re clear about the reason why it happened, moves along and adjusts their stream of thought to be accustomed to the impact of what ever the fuck is that changed. tama, lahat talaga nagbabago. gaya nalang sa opisina. sa trabaho ko kasi bilang isang call center representative may mga bagay rin kaming sinusunod. it’s not like we just take in calls and that’s it. it isn’t like a hello goodbye conversation. we hav to scrutinize every single shit there is. opening spiel, greeting, verification, knowing the concern, probing for reasons, rapport, fixing all the shit that your customer did, documenting everything that happened during the call, asking if there’s another thing that you can help them with, going back to step 4 if they happen to answer yes, repeat step 9, prepare to waste your time if they say yes again because the person you’re speaking with have a lot of issues than paris hilton, offer things that they might need (sales, for extra income. lol.), recap everything that you’ve accomplished para sa inggratang customer, remind them of things that they can do on their own like there’s a website that they can visit and clean all the shit that they have in their account, say goodbye, move on fade and repeat step one for the next call. akala ng iba ang sarap sarap ng buhay namin sa BPO industry kasi malaki raw ang sahod and all that. well yeah, mejo nga naman in fairness pero sulit na sulit naman rin sila sa pinapasahod nila dahil di rin naman biro and makipag usap sa taga america. english kaya yun! like, duh? pero kidding aside, the steps that i just mentioned a while back is something that we do in routine. how many times a day you’re asking? it depends. if it’s queuing you’re lucky if you ended up answering not less than 35 to 40 calls. so there, napapagod na akong mag type so let’s cut the chase. in real life, be it at work in school or at home; knowing your attitude and finding out the manner on how you take things is important. change can sometimes hit you from behind and leave you unconscious (wow tama spelling ko, di nag red yung auto correct hahaha…) so be prepared, pe positive, and adapt to the major major changes that happens in your everyday life. life is good, life is how we make it, love is love, and all the lovely quotes and idioms that you can think about. till here thanks for reading!
